It does take a little time for Bridge to render out a preview thumbnail from your 3D files.

Also, you can view 3D animations with Bridge. To view the 3D animations inside Bridge, select the 3D file containing the save 3D animations and on the right you will see the preview box. Click on the play button to see the animations all inside of Bridge without opening any 3D applications.

You can also scrub through the animations or pause it. You can also double click the 3D file in Bridge and that will automatically open the 3D file in Photoshop.

It might not be a big deal, but if you work with 3D before and have many 3D files inside your hard drive. You will know you can’t preview the 3D files unless they are open, with Bridge you can preview your 3D files before opening it. Not only can you use Bridge to preview your 3D files, .PSD file and other image files without wasting time opening them.
